Planning and Preparing Your Vegetable Garden

Are you a first time gardener, or new to vegetable gardening in the city? Come learn about starting your own seeds indoors, planning and laying out your garden to get ready for the spring, with a focus on square foot/small plot gardening. We’ll also talk about bit about companion planting. Participants will come away with ideas of how to set up a seed-starting area in their own home, thoughts and techniques for garden layout and spacing, ideas about setting up raised bed gardens, some basic knowledge about companion planting, and a list of helpful resources.
